Fifteen years as a street entertainer from 1980 - 1995 has knocked Rogers voice into shape, along with his confidence as a performer and musician.

He plays the guitar and mandola, both in a style of his own. He has been writing and performing his own songs for many years but since moving to Leicester in 1993, his music has taken an upturn.

He has recorded 4 albums: Orchestra of wishes, Ranting in Heaven, Fairytale Years and Space on Earth (with Chris Conway).

His CD's feature many fine musicians such as: Pete Morton, Vikki Clayton, Roger Wilson and Chris Conway, to name a few. Roger performs solo or with 'Orchestra of Wishes', a six piece eclectic band and also as 'Beggars Belief', a duo with fiddle player
Tim Booth.

Roger performs his own songs which are Celtic roots with world wide influences. He is also adept at singing Irish, English and American folk songs and folk/pop material of the 50's 60's and 70's.
